One of my favorite times of the year is Easter. It is a time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I can just imagine the excitement on that first Easter morning when those at the tomb heard these words, "He is not here. He has risen just as He said!" And then they saw Jesus. He was dead, but now alive. And because Jesus is alive all His promises are true. He promised that in Him was life, eternal abundant life. In Him was an eternal home in heaven. In Him was forgiveness of sin and peace with God. I can't wait for Easter Sunday morning to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with our church family. If you don't have a place to worship, join us to celebrate Easter. He is Risen! He is risen indeed!
