In John 15:1-8, Jesus describes Himself as the true vine, the Father as the gardener, and believers as the branches. He emphasizes that remaining (abiding) in Him is essential for bearing spiritual fruit. Without Him, we can do nothing. The Father prunes fruitful branches to help them grow, while unfruitful branches are removed. Those who abide in Christ will see their prayers answered, bring glory to God, and prove to be His disciples. This passage teaches the importance of dependence on Christ, spiritual growth, and obedience, with the ultimate goal of bearing fruit for God’s kingdom.
